Our Story

For Kylie Taylor (Skelton), a love of balloons started long before The Milestone Market. At just 14 years old, she took her first job at a local party store, where filling helium balloons quickly turned into something much more meaningful—a love for creating moments of joy and celebration.

After spending eight years in the corporate world, that passion never really went away. So when the opportunity came to take ownership of The Milestone Market in July 2025, Kylie knew it was time to follow the spark that had been there all along. Born and raised in Shawnee, Kansas, Kylie was excited to bring her love of balloons, creativity, and community back home and into a business of her own.

Today, The Milestone Market is all about making life’s milestones feel a little more magical. From intimate celebrations to big, wow-worthy events, every balloon display is thoughtfully designed to bring color, personality, and joy to the occasion. As a mom of two, Kylie knows that some of life’s most special moments are the ones worth celebrating—and she believes there’s always a reason to celebrate something.
